Such a fun day celebrating all our wonderful and amazing volunteers who give so selflessly week after week of themselves by feeding and sharing their love to our special friends on the street. The Board of Feeding the Homeless Project wanted to say thanks and hosted a Volunteer Picnic to honor their commitment and dedication.
Barry and Jim, Bill, Dan and David took turns manning the grill and made delicious ribs, mouth watering lamb chops, bacon cheeseburgers, bacon wrapped hot dogs, stuffed jalapenos, cajun sausage and even smores! At times the food didn’t even make it to the table before it was gobbled up!
Frisbies were flying, bubbles were blowing and a couple of fierce and competitive games of corn hole were played! The King of Pops also made an appearance and yummy desserts were everywhere!
A great big THANK YOU goes out to Heather and her team for putting on such a great event!
