For two weeks in a row, we have had to cancel our sponsored feedings due to the rain but that doesn’t deter our amazing and dedicated group of volunteers from the FTHP family and our fearless Team Leaders from showing up as they tough it out in rain gear and galoshes with breakfast sandwiches, coffee, juice, bananas and other goodies to pass out to our friends waiting for us.
We never want to disappoint our friends as they always show up for us, rain or shine and even in freezing cold weather, they are waiting for us to arrive every Saturday morning.
I always highlight our wonderful sponsors because without them, we could not do what we do, but this week, and especially during this holiday season, I must thank all the wonderful Service Leaders and Team Leaders that I have the privilege to work with. They are the heroes that show up every week because they love being a part of such a great mission we call Feeding the Homeless Project, Inc.
